Groupon Malaysia is no more, and is now known as Fave. The discount site was acquired by the Fave group back in November 2016, and this is simply consolidating the companies under a single name.
As it stands, Fave has inherited Groupon Malaysia’s userbase and will offer the same sort of deals on food, fashion, travel, and fitness centres. For all intents and purposes, it is the same site operating under a new name.
“It is more than just putting a new name to Groupon. Fave is a homegrown brand developed and headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, and it is now used by millions of users and thousands of businesses across Southeast Asia including Jakarta and Singapore,” says Joel Neoh, founder of Fave.
As part of the new rebranding, Fave is offering users a 15 percent discount across the entire coupon catalogue. All customers have to do is use the promo code GOFAVE; which will be available until 28 February 2017.
Fave is also available as a mobile app on both Android and iOS.
