Uber seems to really like the number four, which is rather odd for operating in Asian countries. The ridesharing service is currently offering customers outside the Klang Valley a RM4 discount on fares.
How it works is that each customer can use the FREERIDES100 promo code and call for an Uber. This reduces the fare by RM4, but can only be done 25 times. The idea is that each person will be able to claim RM100 is discounts over the course of the promotion.
It should noted that the promo code only needs to be entered once to benefit from the discount.
The Klang Valley and Seremban are excluded from this particular promotion. Which isn’t surprising as these two places already have Uber’s RM0.99 promotion going on right now. This particular promotion only works for rides less than 4km in distance, and provided that the driver doesn’t encounter heavy traffic.
Uber also operates in Penang, Ipoh, Johor Bharu, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Kuantan, and Malacca. The RM100 ride promotion will run until 5 March 2017.
