If you have been waiting for the arrival of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 in Malaysia, we have a great news for you. Well, we don’t have the actual launch date at the moment but this is close enough or might even be better: here’s your chance to actually test out Redmi Note 3 through a special program by Xiaomi Malaysia.
Dubbed as the Redmi Note 3 Explorers Program, 15 Mi fans in Malaysia will be chosen to test out Redmi Note 3 for 3 weeks. These fans – nicknamed as Mi Explorers – will be asked to complete a set of missions and then subsequently submit a review on the new device to Xiaomi Malaysia. Once the company is satisfied with the results, these lucky Mi Explorers will then be able to keep their Redmi Note 3 forever.
With the announcement of the program, Xiaomi Malaysia has also confirmed that the Malaysian variant of Redmi Note 3 that will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. This pretty much aligned to what we saw on SIRIM’s database recently.
Other than that, this particular version of Redmi Note 3 feature higher resolution sensor on its rear camera at 16-megapixels as opposed to the MediaTek model which comes with 13-megapixels sensor. It also feature a bigger 4,050mAh battery.
