It has just come to our attention that HP Malaysia have released yet another group of laptops that are equipped with the newly launched 7th generation Intel Core processors into the market after doing so for the first time last month. This time around, they are actually available directly from HP Malaysia’s online store.

While the first batch of HP Malaysia’s Kaby Lake-based laptops are generally entry-level models, the second batch is consisted of models from the Pavilion and Envy series. Leading the group is the Envy 15-as105TU which features the Intel Core i7-7500U processor alongside 15.6-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display.

The 1.94kg laptop is also equipped with a 8GB DDR4-2133 RAM module together with 1TB 5400rpm SATA hard drive, and 128GB M.2 solid state drive. Additionally, it also carries a price tag of RM 4,299.

Some of the components mentioned above are also available with another model called Pavilion 15-au136TX including the Core i7-7500U processor, 15.6-inch full HD IPS display, 1TB 5400rpm hard drive, and 128GB solid state drive. At 4GB, the amount of DDR4 memory on this model is only half of what the Envy 15 has though.

Still, the laptop does carry something extra in the form of NVIDIA GeForce 940MX with 4GB DDR3 VRAM as its graphic processor. It also has a much more affordable price tag as well at RM 3,399.

The third model in the group is also variant of Pavilion 15 called Pavilion 15-au102TX which is powered by Core i5-7200U processor. While the laptop still carries GeForce 940MX as its GPU alongside 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB 5400rpm hard drive, this model only has 2GB DDR3 as its VRAM and doesn’t come without solid state drive.

Furthermore, the Pavilion 15-au102TX is equipped with a SVA panel instead of an IPS panel although its display resolution is still identical to the Pavilion 15-au136TX at full HD. Given the differences in terms of specifications between the two Pavilion 15 laptops, the price tag of Pavilion 15-au102TX is much lower at RM 2,399.

Finally, there is also the Pavilion 14-al102TX which has the same the specifications as per Pavilion 15-au102TX but in a smaller form factor and the usage of IPS panel of its 14-inch full HD display. Interestingly, it costs slightly higher at RM 2,599 though. As mentioned earlier, all four laptops are available immediately on HP Malaysia’s online store.
