Celcom, DiGi, and Maxis Begin To Tease iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus

If you have planned to get your hands on the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, get ready because they are coming to Malaysia very soon. While there is no official announcement from Apple itself, all the major telcos in Malaysia have begun to tease the new devices on their websites.

U Mobile seems to be leading the fever early on by not only opening the registration of interest (ROI) page for these devices but has also revealed the release date for them. That doesn’t mean other telcos are sitting on their laurels even though their approach might be different from each other.

For example, an iPhone 7 banner has been spotted on DiGi’s website which also links to a mini site which seems to be a mirror of the iPhone 7’s page on Apple’s official website. At the time this article is published, it seems that DiGi has yet to activate the RoI page for the new devices since there is no such link on the mini site.

Maxis has also activated iPhone 7’s banner and mini site on its official website together with another webpage that provides tips for users that planned to pre-order iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus from the telco. Judging from those tips, it seems that Maxis might jump ahead to pre-order program instead of using the ROI method.

Last but not least, Celcom who actually has crafted mini site for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus together with links to ROI page that is apparently being hosted at its Blue Cube server. However, the ROI page is still not yet functioning at the time this article is published.
