Acer has launched the Chromebook 11 for the Malaysian market, and it will be sold exclusively on Lazada. While Chromebooks aren’t the most popular choice when it comes to mobile computing, the company is determined to change that with the Chrome OS-based Chromebook 11.
Acer brought in the N2840 variant of the Chromebook 11, which has an anti-glare 11.6-inch screen, and runs on an Intel Celeron 2 1.6GHz processor paired with 2GB RAM. Running on Chrome OS, data management for Chromebooks have always been on the Cloud, which is why the Chromebook 11 only has a 16GB SSD.
Connectivity wise, it has Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB 3.0. Should you need a larger display, connect it to an external display via the HDMI port. Not only that, the Acer Chromebook 11 promises 8.5 hours of battery life. On top of that, the Chromebook weighs a mere 1.13kg, but measures 2.8cm thick.
Each purchase of the Acer Chromebook 11 comes with a free 100GB storage on Google Drive, and two months of unlimited music streaming on Google Music. It is only available in Moonstone White, and it will be sold exclusively on Lazada for RM999. Those interested can check out the product page here.
