A Windows Phone fan group has posted a screenshot of what appears to be a new update for devices running Lumia Denim. The update appears to remove the Preview for Developers, and leaving the Phone Insider app.
It is currently believed that Phone Insider is intended to replace the old app for the coming preview of Windows 10. Microsoft has made a statement about the update, although some comments have pointed out that the news of the update appeared some 10 days before the upcoming Windows 10 event to be held on 21st January. An oddly convenient and suspicious timing.
Not everyone has received the update; while it appears to only be available for Lumia Denim devices, many users are still reporting that they have not yet received it. Malaysians shouldn’t hold their breath either, as it appears Lumia Denim has not arrived on Windows Phone devices here to begin with.
