Redmi Note 4G 11 December 2014 Malaysia

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G contest is finally over and if you’re wondering when the Chinese phone manufacturer will be selling the device then mark your calendar for 11 December 2014. Mi Malaysia’s Facebook page recently announced that its latest Redmi Note with 4G connectivity will go on sale on the date for a retail price of RM589.

Announced in China back in August, the Redmi Note 4G not only comes with a new connectivity option that is 10 times faster than before, it also uses a different processor and is a tiny bit lighter than the current Redmi Note that is already available in our market.

Redmi Note Dimensions

Physically, both devices looks the same with a plastic build, identical dimensions and a 5.5” 720p display on board. On the inside, the Redmi Note 4G is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.6Ghz, paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM. Other specs include 13MP rear camera, slightly smaller battery of 3100mAh, runs on Android 4.4, and weighs 10 grams lighter than before.

Redmi Note 4G vs 3G Standard and Enhanced

The Redmi Note 4G was launched in Singapore last month for S$229, and will be reaching our market on 11 December 2014 for a retail price of RM589. Xiaomi did not mention the time, but judging from previous sales, it should start at 12pm sharp but don’t take our words for it, check out Mi Malaysia for announcements. If you plan on getting it, it’s a public holiday for those of you who work in Selangor, so you can have all the time you need to stalk Xiaomi Malaysia’s website.
