Based in Paris, Aedle is generally quite new in the world of high-end audio given the fact that the company was only formed around three years ago. Nevertheless, its first product (and the only one so far), the Aedle VK-1 headphones seemed to have substantial amount of premium craftsmanship and build quality to hold themselves in the audiophile world.
Assembled in France itself, the Aedle VK-1 was originally launched in 2013 and features handcrafted ear cups that are made from aircraft-grade T6066 aluminium. Holding them together is a manganese steel headband that is covered with liquid silicone and hand sewn lambskin leather to provide comfort for VK-1 owners. Furthermore, the same leather treatment is also given to each of VK-1’s ear cups which house 40mm titanium-neodymium audio drivers within them.

Each VK-1 also comes with two 3.5mm cables of varying lengths that are coated with aramid fiber alongside a microphone / volume control combo cable, an airline adapter, a 6.5mm adapter, and a leather travel pouch. Since they are high-end headphones, the price tag is rather hefty though at RM 2,000.
Available in Carbon and Classic finishes (show customers are able to get their hands on the Aedle VK-1 immediately through the renowned audiophile retailer Jaben Malaysia. For further information about the headphones, just point your browser to www.aedle.net.
