Last night, Sony Malaysia just officially announced that the Xperia Z3 Compact, along with the Xperia Z3, will be arriving in Malaysia tomorrow (ahead of their October schedule!) for a retail price of RM1,899.
The preorder for the Xperia Z3 Compact is available immediately and will run until 28 September. Stock is expected to arrive one week after the preorder ends. Storekini will also throw in a bunch of freebies including a RM30 Storekini voucher, tempered glass screen protector, glow-in-the-dark back over and a Plantronic M25 bluetooth headset (worth RM188). - Delivery (pay RM1,899)– if you choose the free delivery option, you will need to give a full payment of RM1,899. You will get a RM30 Storekini voucher, tempered glass screen protector and a glow-in-the-dark back cover for free (while stocks last).
- Collect at Storekini office – pay only RM299 to secure your Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. When you collect your device, you will need to pay the balance of RM1,600 in cash, and on top of the freebies listed above (RM30 Storekini voucher, tempered glass screen protector and a glow-in-the-dark back cover), Storekini will even throw in an extra Plantronics M25 Bluetooth headset worth RM188 for free (while stocks last).
The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact may seem like a “mini” version of the Xperia Z3, but it is a high-end smartphone that is almost as powerful as the Xperia Z3 except for a smaller screen. It features a smaller display measuring at 4.6” with HD resolution. On the inside, it is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD slot. Other specs include Adreno 330 GPU, highest waterproof rating of IP 65/68, the same 20.7MP rear camera found on the Xperia Z3, 2,600mAh built-in battery, Android 4.4, and PlayStation Remote Play.
