On 24 January 1984, the first Apple Macintosh went on sale and it’s suffice to say that the rest is history. To mark the occasion, Apple recently has updated its official website with a special section that pays tribute to 30 years of Macintosh history. The section also includes an interactive timeline featuring the first Mac up to the spanking new, cylindrical and all-powerful 2013 Mac Pro.
Not only that, the timeline also features a number of well-known figures such as electro-acoustic pioneer Jon Appleton, co-inventor of Adobe Photoshop John Knoll, movie composer Hans Zimmer, Nike’s designer Tinker Hatfield and many more. Each of these well-known figures also shared their thoughts on how Apple Mac computers helps them capture their visions and achievements.
