If you’ve turned off your DND feature on your iOS device and have been doing it manually since the beginning of the year no thanks to a bug that stopped it from working properly, keep doing so until 8 January 2013 because that’s the date whereby the feature will magically fix itself. Instead of releasing a fix immediately, Apple just released a statement saying that the feature will resume back after 7 January 2013:
“Do Not Disturb scheduling feature will resume normal functionality after January 7, 2013. Before this date, you should manually turn the Do Not Disturb feature on or off.”
Oh well, only another working day to go tomorrow, just don’t forget to turn off your DND on Monday morning because missing work or school would be the worst way to start the week.
