Always wanted to donate some of your stuffs to the underprivileged children but have no idea how you can help? Well, no problem, thanks to MyTeksi and Science of Life Studies 24/7 (SOL 24/7) , donating things to these underserved children is as easy as booking a cab. MyTeksi and SOL 24/7 are currently having an on-going collaboration to help collect used (and hopefully new too) toys and English children books, which would be donated to 2,000 underprivileged children in the rural areas of Malaysia. Called “Delivering Happiness”, the charity drive will gather all these toys and books from the general public to fill 20 toy libraries in rural areas like Minusuh in Sabah, Kulim in Kedah and Sungai Suloh in Johor Bahru.
So how can you help? From 28 December to 19 January 2014 (only weekends), prepare 5 toys and 5 English children books suitable for children between the age of 8 to 14. After that, book a cab using the MyTeksi app from your location to MyTeksi headquarters (MYTEKSIHQ). MyTeksi will send a cab over and all you need to do is pass him the items and they will be on their way to put smiles on these children’s faces.
Christmas and New Year is supposed to be a jolly season celebrated by everyone around the world, so let’s come together to give these underprivileged children a jolly season they would remember and a fantastic year ahead.
