It took them quite a while to reach this side of the region but nevertheless, the brand new Sennheiser PC 350 Special Edition and PC 363D Surround Sound gaming headsets are now available in Malaysia. First introduced at CES earlier this year, these new headsets are apparently reengineered from Sennheiser PC 350 and PC 360 gaming headsets that are well known among a lot of professional and hardcore gamers out there.
While it still featuring the company’s Ergonomic Acoustic Design (EAR) technology as per the original PC 350 headset, the Sennheiser PC 350 SE noise blocking gaming headset can easily be identified due to the newly redesigned metal earcup covers. In addition to that, PC 350 SE also does not come with in-line volume and microphone controller as per PC 350 since they are now integrated directly into the headset.
As for the open design Sennheiser PC 363D Surround Sound gaming headset, it offers Dolby Pro Logic IIx 7.1 virtual surround sound capability which is powered by Sennheiser 3D G4ME 1 USB sound card (shown above) that is included together with the headset. The PC 363D also features new metal earcup covers with the same design aesthetics as per PC 350 SE.
Both headsets are also equipped with noise-cancelling microphone which can easily be muted by lifting it up. In terms of pricing, they are certainly not cheap though – the new Sennheiser PC 350 SE is priced at RM 1,099 while the PC 363D goes for RM 1,289.
