John McAfee, founder of the antivirus company that bears his name, is planning to return to Silicon Valley to begin a strange new project. He wants to build a new internet; one that is “impossible to hack, impossible to penetrate, and vastly superior in terms of its facility and neutrality”.
McAfee has lead an interesting life since being wanted by authorities in Belize for apparently being involved in the shooting of an American expatriate. After escaping into Guatemala by burying himself in the sand and faking a heart attack. His story is being made into two separate movies, a book and a graphic novel.
Hollywood couldn’t come up with stories like this.
