Last year, Square Enix released a card based RPG for mobile devices. They are now following it up with a zombie-themed card-based battle RPG called Deadman’s Cross.
The press release appears to indicate that players will need to acquire cards by hunting zombies with a rifle within a 3D world. It sounds suspiciously like combining Left4Dead with Cardcaptor Sakura. The cards themselves will be used to build decks and battle for whatever reason Square Enix has come up with.
The game is slated for a release later this year and will be available for iOS and Android devices.
