You know how sometimes you need to attend a meeting but before that, you need to drop by the office to pick up something and drop them off at another place, and if you’re navigating to these destinations using Google Maps, you would have to set the destinations individually? Google recently announced a new “directions for multiple destinations”, allowing you to set all those destinations in one trip.
To access the new feature, all you need to do is set your starting point. After that, click on + and add stops to your route by typing in the search box or by clicking on the map; the new feature works for driving, walking and biking directions. You can easily reorder your route too, simply drag and drop one destination above or below another, and you’re good to go.
On top of that, Google also announced some pretty cool US-only features that aggregates all your flight, hotel and restaurant reservations into Google Maps. Search for your departing airport or dining destination, and you will instantly see your upcoming plans; Google’s aim is to put everything in one place so you can easily plan your commute, making Maps more tailored to you.
Google did not mention when or whether or not they will bring the latter feature outside of the U.S., meanwhile, the multiple destination feature is already available so head on to maps.google.com now to try it out.
