As the race for the iPhone 5 hots up, a blunder in the listings for Mid Valley Megamall’s North Court shows Maxis booking the space from November 5th (very apt date) to November 11th for “Maxis iPhone 5 Promotions”. Also according to the venerable LiewCF, Maxis is also looking for promoters for the KLCC Maxis Centre. This just about confirms the arrival of the iPhone 5 to our shores in the first week of November as previously mentioned by an inside source. On the flip side, our early estimate of a November 2nd release may be a little too early, however it may be a good day for all the telcos to do a “Registration of interest” drive or even pre orders to beat the crowd.
