While the claims of LTE coverage between Maxis and DiGi has sparked plenty of attention from consumers, it is rather interesting to note that these two companies are not only working to spread their LTE footprint but are also working to bring forward new features and technology to their customers. If DiGi recently talked about its upcoming VoLTE implementation, Maxis on another hand has revealed to us that it actually has deployed several LTE Advanced sites in Klang Valley.
Specifically, Maxis LTE Advanced sites are currently located in The Gardens Mall, Bangsar, Hartamas, Kota Damansara, Bandar Utama, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Damansara Utama, SS2 Petaling Jaya, Bandar Sunway, Sunway Pyramid, Puchong, and Cyberjaya. Through Maxis LTE Advanced network, customers apparently able to surf at speeds of up to 225 Mbps which is much higher than the telco’s current LTE network that has a maximum speed of 75 Mbps.
