Good news to Maxis users who have supplementary lines, Maxis recently introduced a brand new Family Budget supplementary line that is not only cheaper, it also comes with more control over your line like assign monthly limits, get SMS alerts and more.
For RM30/month, Family Budget supplementary line allows the principal line to assign monthly spending limits that can be changed at anytime from the convenience of your mobile phone. On top of that, the principal will also get an SMS alert at RM10 prior to the limit so the subscriber can choose to allocate more if needed; an SMS alert will be sent at 100% limit usage as well.
The call charges are as listed below:
As with the existing supplementary line from Maxis – Family Plus 30, the line comes with up to 15 hours of free talk time and 1,500 free SMS between family lines.
For existing Family Plus 30 users, I guess you should know that the call charges and SMS rates in Family Budget is also significantly cheaper than Family Plus 30, and comes with an optional subscription for lower call rates at RM5:
