Packed with a dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 CPU as well as dual-SIM capability, the Alcatel One Touch 992D Elite is the only device – out of five Alcatel One Touch’s prototype device that we encountered recently – that is readily available in the market as we speak. Priced at RM 649, its CPU is part of the MediaTek MT6577 chipset which also houses a PowerVR SGX531 GPU.
Runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Alcatel One Touch 992D Elite is equipped with a 4-inch capacitive touch display with a graphics resolution of 800×480. The device also comes with 4GB ROM, 512MB RAM and the support for microSD card with capacity of up to 32GB. Furthermore, it is also features a 5-megapixels main camera and a VGA front-facing camera.
