U Mobile Introduces New UMI 48 Mobile Internet Plan – Get 2GB of Data Along with Free Calls and SMS

Need more internet for your mobile devices, especially during the many upcoming holidays? Of course you do, U Mobile just introduced a new Unlimited Mobile Internet Plan – UMI 48 – that comes with 2GB of high speed internet and on top of that, it also comes bundled with 100 minutes of free voice calls and 30 free SMS, all for only RM48/month.
The new Mobile Internet plan is added on top of the existing UMI 18 and UMI 28 so if you do not need such large internet quota, you can always pick any of these two that comes with 250MB and 500MB of internet respectively; they are also packed with free calls and free SMS.
To subscribe, all you need to do is open up the USSD Menu with your U Mobile number by dialing *118# and select Mobile Services followed by the Unlimited Mobile Internet of your choice. Alternatively, you can also send out an SMS to 28118 – “ON UMI 18”, “ON UMI 28” or “ON UMI 48”.

umobile still has a problem with coverage. Internet doesnt work so well in putrajaya, only certain spots and a lot of other states too
speed cap is too low. if RM48 has got 5GB speed cap, for sure i will use the UMI 48. and 30 sms is a bit low for RM48. u-mobile are you listening?

Sweet, like it. I am long term RM28 user now I have the option for more data yahoo….
Umobile service not really nice, always cut off line but internet no bad for some area.
Problem is the quota for free mins call, which im not really sure whether its true or not..
Im U58 and 200mins free call which always exceed although my monitor apps show only 100+ usage.
About the Customer Service, totally useless which like no one working in it.
Now I hate umobile. I can’t connect internet anymore since a week ago. No more 3G coverage, only can use 2G with GPRS mode. I’ve called customer service many times, and they said that they got some 3G line problem and ask me to reset the network manager but nothing changed!!
