Calling all HTC One X users, if you haven’t checked your device for an update, it’s time to do so right about now. Earlier this morning I checked for an update for my One X and received 2 – the first one was a typical software update, a rather small one that requires a restart right after. After that, please do check for an update again because it’s the Android 4.1 + HTC Sense 4+ that you’ve been waiting for. I have yet to test out the new updates but do let us know how you like or don’t like them.
Meanwhile over at Samsung’s end, check out what Samsung has for Hello Kitty fans – Hello Kitty themed Galaxy Y, your “BFF Smartphone”. The Galaxy Y is an entry level smartphone catered at first time smartphone users and the younger generation and if you were looking for a Christmas gift for your teenage relative, you know where to go. The limited edition Hello Kitty Galaxy Y is available at selected Samsung SEP available in this link.

Finally a little statistic update, Samsung recently shared that it has sold 5 million units of Galaxy Note II globally. When the device was first announced, J.K. Shin said that they expect to sell 20 million units in a year but looking at the rate things are going at the moment, it’s not a surprise that they will exceed the estimation. Check out a new ad for the 5.5” phablet in the video below.

I got my HTC One X updated. In the other hand i failed to connect to my HTC Sync Manager, failed get connected to internet pass through and i lose the USB functionality which i used to able to select charge only or mount as disk drive.
Hi, I also updated my One X to JB. Just want to ask, do you all noticed there is a battery level indicator issue on the notification bar after the update. When fully charge (100% or 100%-91%), the battery full green. But when it come to 90%-81%, it will drop 2 bar. It suppose drop 1 bar if you really notice it on the battery level on notification bar. Because if drop 2 bar, it should be between 80%-71%. Do you all notice it?
Face the same problem, Lost my sync to my outlook. Seems that HTC Sync is not reading 4.1.1.
