ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has opened pre-orders for the ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle, with only 30 units available nationwide. The limited-edition package combines the 20th anniversary ROG Xbox Ally X20 with the ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses and several exclusive accessories.
The X20 is a special-edition take on the ROG Xbox Ally X, featuring a translucent black chassis with a vibrant gold internal structure. It also introduces ROG’s new Nebula HDR Display, which uses a larger 7.4-inch OLED panel, while retaining the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor for its gaming performance.
More Than Just An OLED Upgrade
Aside from the display and several other changes, the X20 retains much of the same hardware as the standard ROG Xbox Ally X. This includes the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory, 1TB PCIe 4.0 storage and an 80Wh battery.
The X20 also gets TMR joysticks, stiffer shoulder buttons and triggers, a more tactile D-pad and face buttons, as well as a rotatable D-pad that provides different surfaces depending on the game. Its microSD card reader has also been upgraded to microSD Express, while the Xbox button now features a green backlight.
We also got to spend some hands-on time with the X20 during Computex 2026, where we found that there is more to the new handheld than its larger OLED display. You can read our hands-on impressions here.
Comes With A Custom Killswitch And Pelican Case
The limited-edition bundle includes a custom dbrand Killswitch case designed specifically for the X20. It comes with a built-in kickstand, ruggedised grips and gold-and-black accents to commemorate ROG’s 20th anniversary, along with a matching face skin featuring a circuit-board pattern inspired by the handheld’s internal components.
The package also includes ROG-branded joystick covers and a custom Pelican Protector Case with red ROG latches and an exclusive 20th anniversary badge. A 68W charger is included as well, giving buyers the necessary accessories for carrying the handheld around.
ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20
The other major component of the bundle is the ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses, which connect directly to the X20 using a single USB Type-C cable. While this special edition features a matching black-and-gold aesthetic, its specifications are otherwise the same as the standard ROG XREAL R1.
To recap the original, the glasses feature 240Hz micro-OLED displays capable of presenting a virtual 171-inch Full HD screen at a distance of 4 metres, along with support for up to 4K resolution at 60Hz. They also feature 3DoF spatial tracking through the X1 chip, electrochromic dimming and Bose-tuned audio.
