Framework is beginning to take preorders for the new 192GB configuration of the Framework Desktop. The compact all-in-one comes equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495.
We’ve already talked at length about the Gorgon Halo APU, so we’ll just got through the specifications of it quickly. Pro 495 is built on a 16-cores, 32-threads, with a base and boost clock of 3.1GHz and 5.2GHz, respectively. The iGPU itself is a Radeon 8065S iGPU with 40 CUs, based on the RDNA3.5 architecture.
To keep it cool, this special Framework Desktop is equipped with a Noctua NF-A12x25 HS-PWM fan preinstalled. Getting technical, it’s a 120mm fan that is designed for small form factor systems, with fan rotations ranging between 2,000 RPM and 1,700 RPM, the latter indicating low-noise operability.
Other specifications of the Framework Desktop include two M.2 SSD slots; a 4x PCIe slot; two USB4 ports; two USB-A ports; two front Expansion Card slots; two DisplayPort 2.1 ports; an HDMI 2.1 port; a 3.5mm audio jack; 5Gbps LAN port; and Wi-Fi 7.

Pricing for the limited Framework Desktop with 192GB starts at US$6,799 (~RM27,790). We say starting because the configuration does not include any storage: those are optional extra, but the company will sell the desktop pre-installed with it, provided you are willing to pay a fee. To that end, Prices start at US$135 (~RM551) for a 500GB SSD and cap out at US$2,269 (~RM9,274). All models are from Sandisk and all are PCIe 4.0 SSDs. Oh, and there is also a 1-year warranty included, but you can increase that period to three years for an additional US$1,019 (~RM4,165). Sadly, and as mentioned in the subheader, Framework doesn’t deliver its products to Malaysia at current. So, if you’re looking for an amount, you’re going to have to get it in a country in which they do ship out, or look through the grey market.
