After refreshing the MatePad 11.5 Standard Edition earlier this year, Huawei has announced another addition to its tablet lineup. This time, the 2026 version of the MatePad 11.5 S has made its debut on our shores. The device features an all-metal unibody design for a minimalist look. Furthermore, it sports a slim build that measures 6.1mm thick and weighs 515g.

As for the display, it uses an 11.5-inch 2.8K LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3:4 aspect ratio. According to Huawei, the tablet’s upgraded Ultra-clear PaperMatte Display has been engineered to reduce glare and visual interference, allowing for clarity and visual comfort. Beyond that, this screen offers 500 nits of peak brightness.

Internally, the brand has equipped the device with an 8,800mAh battery with 40W charging. As for memory, the tablet gets 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the software side, it runs on HarmonyOS 4.3 and comes with a selection of productivity-focused apps. Among these are the Huawei Notes, GoPaint, Wondershare Filmora, and WPS Office.

Naturally, the MatePad 11.5 S is compatible with the M-Pencil Pro and Smart Magnetic Keyboard. These accessories further boost the device’s productivity capabilities, allowing it to function as a compact workstation. The tablet’s other features include quad speakers, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP front snapper.
