Infinix has announced its newest product for the local market. If the name doesn’t make it obvious already, the Smart 20 is the latest addition to the brand’s entry-level smartphone line. Designed for everyday use, the handset features a slim yet durable build. At 7.7mm thick, the device is the thinnest in the Smart range thus far.
Other than that, the phone sports a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to the company, the device can withstand drops from up to 1.5 metres. Furthermore, it gets an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, with a touch interface that remains responsive even with wet hands.

Under the hood, the Smart 20 packs a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM. Meanwhile, storage options include 64GB and 128GB. Keeping the device powered is a 5,200mAh battery.
Among the phone’s highlights is the Pure Voice Calls feature, which works by recording short samples of the user’s voice to create a personalised voiceprint model. The phone then recognises and prioritises the user’s voice while minimising background noises, allowing for clearer calls.
Meanwhile, UltraLink Free Offline Contact leverages Bluetooth for device-to-device communication without using traditional carrier signals. Infinix claims this feature lets users make calls and send messages from within a 1 kilometre radius. Finally, the brand has improved its NFC Touch Transfer technology to support the fast transfer of installation packages. This feature also works with with iPhones.
The Infinix Smart 20 comes in four colourways: Sunlike Orange, Cloudline Blue, Polaris Titanium, and Shadow Black. The budget phone is available for purchase via the company’s physical and online stores, including Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. The base 64GB model retails for RM399, while the 128GB variant gets a RM449 price tag.
