You know the brand Marshall for its very rock-centric range of audio products. We’ve also said as much in our review, noting that it suffers in just about any other genre. But in the meantime, the company has been venturing into less familiar territory. One result of this adventuring outside of its comfort zone is the party speaker called the Bromley 750. And today, that speaker has gotten its launch in the Malaysian market.
On the outside, the Marshall Bromley 750 retains the brand’s signature design language, only massively bumped up in size. To go with the size are a set of wheels and built-in carry handles. Moving beyond the large shell, we then find 250mm 150W woofers firing in front and at the back. Accompanying these are 25mm 7W tweeters, with 130mm 50W mid-range drivers firing towards the sides instead. Then there are the two 20mm 14W tweeters firing upwards.
Powering all of these is a total of 500W of amplifications. And since there are speakers pointing in all directions but downwards, it sports the brand’s 360-degree True Stereophonic sound. You also get a “sound character control” dial, ranging between Dynamic for a more indoor use, or “Loud” to for blasting while outdoors. Of course, there are “stage-inspired” lights to complement the mood.
Connectivity can be done either with Bluetooth 5.3 with Auracast, plus USB-C if you prefer. Or, if you prefer something more old school, 3.5mm and 6.3mm / XLR combo jack. Powering the Marshall Bromley 750 is a rechargeable, replaceable battery that gives it over 40 hours of play time. Charging it up – using the aforementioned USB-C – from empty to full takes 3.5 hours, and 20 minutes of charging gives it five hours of playtime.
The Marshall Bromley 750 is priced at RM5,899 in Malaysia, but it won’t be available everywhere immediately. ASH Asia, the official distributor for Marshall in Malaysia, says that it will first be available tomorrow at select Thunder Match Technology (TMT), Harvey Norman and PC Image outlets. Then, after a few weeks, it will be available nationwide. No specifics as to the specific outlets were provided though. Ditto the exact date for general availability.
