Lotus Cars Malaysia has introduced an updated line-up of the Eletre, just after unveiling the refreshed line-up of the Emeya. The automaker’s first fully electric SUV now comes in five variants and, just like the Emeya, the new models are named Eletre 600 and Eletre 900, reflecting their power outputs.
The five variants include the Lotus Eletre 600, Eletre 600 GT SE, 600 Sport SE, Eletre 900 Sport and 900 Sport Carbon. In terms of design, the SUV features slim, blade-like LED matrix headlights paired with a distinctive layered grille and active air intakes. At the rear, it sports a full-width slim taillight, while 20-inch wheels complete the exterior.
For the 600 GT SE, the wheels are upgraded to 21 inches, along with an intelligent glass roof and hands-free tailgate. The 600 Sport SE and 900 Sport both gain an active rear spoiler, while the 900 Sport Carbon receives an extended exterior carbon pack.
Inside, the Lotus Eletre comes with a Jasper interior and a 29-inch heads-up display (HUD). The cabin also features a 15.1-inch OLED touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a KEF Premium 15-speaker audio system, and four-zone climate control. The 600 GT SE adds ambient lighting, the 600 Sport SE comes with ventilated and massage seats, the 900 Sport receives a Quartz-themed interior, and the 900 Sport Carbon gains an extended interior carbon pack to match its exterior.
In terms of performance, all variants feature a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup powered by a 22kW battery pack. The Eletre 600 series delivers 450kW (612PS), completing the century sprint in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 258km/h and a WLTP range of 570 to 600km. The Eletre 900 series produces 675kW (918PS), allowing it to accelerate from 0–100km/h in 2.95 seconds, with a top speed of 265km/h and a WLTP range of 410 to 500km. As it is built on 800V architecture, the Lotus Eletre supports up to 350kW DC charging, replenishing the battery to 80% in just 20 minutes. For AC charging, it comes with an onboard 22kW charger.
Pricing starts with the Eletre 600 at RM499,000, while the 600 GT SE and 600 Sport SE are priced at RM569,000 and RM649,000 respectively. The 900 Sport is priced at RM769,000, with the 900 Sport Carbon at RM839,000. Bookings are now open through showrooms in Glenmarie, Pavilion Damansara Heights and Penang, with deliveries expected to begin in September 2025.
