Razer has expanded its line of Wolverine wireless controllers with the Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC. As it says in the name, the controller is designed for PC use, rather than consoles. Alongside the wireless controller, the company is also launching the Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition 8K PC as a wired variant.
Starting off with the wireless model, the lightweight controller largely resembles its console counterparts. It sports the familiar Mecha-Tactile buttons, as well as the 8-way floating D-pad. Aside from that, it features four mouse click back buttons and a pair of claw grip bumpers. The Razer Pro HyperTriggers also make a return.
According to the company, the controller delivers polling rates of up to 8,000Hz. It also features Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR) thumbsticks with swappable caps. The use of TMR technology allows for better anti-drift performance and constant resistance.
As with Razer’s other peripherals, the Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC can be paired with the brand’s proprietary Synapse software for more customisation. This includes adjusting thumbstick sensitivity, remapping buttons, as well as saving up to four onboard profiles. The controller also has a claimed battery life of up to 20 hours. Also included with the device are a carrying case and a 2m braided cable.

As mentioned earlier, the Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition 8K PC is a wired variant. Overall, it comes with the same 8,000Hz HyperPolling technology, TMR anti-drift thumbsticks, Mecha-Tactile buttons, and Razer Pro HyperTriggers.

Both versions of the controller are now available at the brand’s official website and RazerStores. According to the company, the controllers are also coming soon to local retailers. The standard wireless model is priced at RM929, while the wired Tournament Edition retails for a cheaper RM499.
