CIMB Bank has announced that the MyDebit system will be temporarily unavailable next weekend due to scheduled maintenance. As with other similar works done prior to this, these disruptions will take place between midnight and the early mornings on both days.
According to CIMB, maintenance work will occur on Saturday 16 August 2025 from 12:00 am to 8:00 am, as well as on Sunday 17 August 2025 from 12:00 am to 5:00 am. As you’d expect, any transactions via MyDebit will be inaccessible through these durations, while other CIMB services remain unaffected.

While these disruptions are likely to not affect most CIMB customers, those who operate at late hours should take note nonetheless. Services that are affected by MyDebit’s downtime include the contact and contactless payment terminals at 24-hour stores and toll booths, and others.
As per its notice, CIMB Bank apologises for any inconvenience caused. Any inquiries can be submitted to the bank’s customer service center or its official website.
