Avatr, a premium EV sub-brand of Changan Automobile, recently debuted its Avatr 11 in Singapore. In fact, the mid-size coupe-SUV was the first model to be produced by the brand and was launched. In Singapore, it is offered in two variants: a standard range and a long range.
In terms of design, it has a unique-looking front fascia with a slim LED headlight that almost looks like the number seven. On top of that, there are the daytime running lights (DRL) which look like the eyebrow of the car.

It also comes with an integrated low grille and at the rear are full-width LED taillights with star-ring detailing. Other features include frameless doors, electronic door handles, and a large panoramic sunroof with UV protection.
Inside the car, the cockpit has a minimalistic design and is driver-oriented. It comes with a floating 15.6-inch centre screen for infotainment and two 10.25-inch screens for the instrument cluster and passenger screen.

The seats are covered in Nappa leather and the front dual zero-gravity seats come with ventilation, heating and massage functions. However, the models in Singapore are not incorporated with the Huawei operating system, which is available as a standard feature in China.
In terms of powertrain, as mentioned above there are two variants to the car, which are powered by a single motor with an output of 230kW and 370Nm of torque. All this power is sent to the rear wheels of the Avatr 11.

However, the Standard Range comes with a 90kWh while the Long Range has a 116kWh battery, both offering a WLTP range of 475km and 600km respectively. Being built on the 800V architecture, the SUV can support up to 240kW DC charging, which re-energises the car from 30–80% in 15 minutes for the Standard Range and 25 minutes for the Long Range.
As for safety, the EV is equipped with features such as automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and automated parking assistance. Additionally, a 360-degree surround view system with transparent chassis imaging provides a detailed real-time perspective of the car’s surroundings.

In terms of pricing, the Avatr 11 comes with a price tag of SGD278,999 (~RM918,894) for the Standard Range, while the Long Range will cost SGD303,999 (~RM1,001,232). This model is also available in Thailand, which opens up to the question of is Malaysia next? Well, we will have to wait and see.
