Apple is pretty late to the party when it comes to foldables, with the first foldable iPhone only set to launch next year. While we await the arrival of this device, rumours and leaks continue to surface. Recently, a leakster has revealed the screen sizes of the so-called iPhone Fold.
According to a Weibo post by Digital Chat Station, the foldable iPhone will feature a 7.7-inch interior screen. Meanwhile, the cover display will allegedly measure 5.5 inches. The eagle-eyed observer may notice that these displays are a bit smaller than the Android offerings. Apple might market the foldable as a more pocketable option compared to rival phones.

Of course, screen size is not everything, and it is no secret that the bitten fruit company is prioritising a different attribute for the foldable. Apple has been holding off on releasing a foldable iPhone because it wants the device to feature a completely crease-free display. A recent report claimed the company has already produced a functional prototype, so it may have gotten its wish.
The supposedly crease-free display is being produced by Samsung Display, but it could be fitted on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 first, and not Apple’s foldable iPhone. Screens aside, rumours also claim that Apple will equip its foldable with a more durable hinge.
