Gigabyte recently announced the M27UP, the brand’s first Dual Mode gaming monitor. As per the trend of such monitors, this model can switch between 4K 160Hz and FHD 320Hz with a couple of button presses.
Also unique with the M27UP is the Tactical Dual Mode, allowing users to switch from the display’s 27-inch view to a more focused 24-inch display. Other specifications include a 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 1ms GTG response time, DisplayHDR 400, and full NVIDIA G-Sync Compatibility and support. Oh, and it’s also an IPS panel.
Ports-wise, the M27UP features two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, three USB-A 3.2 Gen1 Downstream port, one USB-A 3.2 Gen1 upstream port, a USB-C port capable of up to 18W PD, and a 3.5mm headphone combo jack. It’s also a KVM monitor, allowing you to control multiple devices with just a single set keyboard and mouse, all through the press of a button.
Cooling for the monitor is conducted via four-sided ventilation at the back of the panel, drawing cool air from the bottom and exhausting it out through the top of the M27UP.
At the time of writing, we’re still waiting on local pricing.
