The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) has introduced an online instalment payment service, e-Ansuran, accessible via the MyTax portal. This initiative allows taxpayers to apply for instalment payments for their tax balances or arrears without requiring supporting documents.
According to LHDN, e-Ansuran applications are automatically approved, provided the total tax amount exceeds RM300. Taxpayers can choose to pay in instalments ranging from two to six payments, making it a flexible option for managing tax obligations.
To access the service, taxpayers must log in to the MyTax portal at https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/. From there, select the appropriate category, such as individual, director or representative director.
However, LHDN notes that cancellations of e-Ansuran applications cannot be made online. Taxpayers who wish to cancel their applications must visit one of its offices in person.
