Infinix has introduced a new concept device ahead of MWC 2025, unveiling the Zero Series Mini Tri-Fold. This concept smartphone brings a unique three-fold design to flip-style foldable smartphones, making it one of the most compact of this category so far.
The Zero Series Mini Tri-Fold features a single folding screen with two hinge points, allowing it to transition between three different form factors. In its most compact form, it is said to be as small as a credit card. When fully unfolded, it reaches the size of a standard smartphone. No specifications are given, as the device is introduced merely as a concept.

Infinix highlights multiple use cases for the device, particularly for outdoor and active users. The compact design enables it to be mounted as an action camera on a bag or bicycle, offering a hands-free recording experience. Another potential feature is real-time translation, where the top section can be folded outward to display translations for another speaker to read in real time.

While the concept presents an innovative approach to foldable technology, questions remain about its practicality and target audience. Unlike other foldable devices that expand into larger screens, this design focuses purely on compactness rather than increased display area.

As of now, the Infinix Zero Series Mini Tri-Fold remains a concept with no official confirmation on whether it will reach production. Nevertheless, it provides insight into the possibilities of ultra-compact foldable devices and how they might be utilised in future mobile technology.
