While realme has already launched the Pro and budget versions of the realme 14 series, it has yet to unveil the vanilla models of the lineup. Ahead of this, however, the 5G variant of the upcoming series has already made an appearance on the SIRIM database, signalling its imminent arrival in Malaysia.
The realme 14 5G was listed on SIRIM on 21 February 2025 with the model number RMX5070. Along with the 14 Pro 5G, this means we can expect at least two more phones from the series to be released here in the near future.
While the company has yet to disclose any information regarding the vanilla variant, rumours suggest that it will be a rebrand of the Neo 7x. If this is true, here is what we can expect. The Neo 7x sports a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a global peak brightness of 1,200 nits, and an HDR peak brightness of 2,000 nits.
The mid-ranger runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset and is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 45W charging. On the imaging side, it features a 50MP main camera, a depth sensor, and a 16MP front snapper.
