CelcomDigi has announced a reload promo campaign for its prepaid users, which the telco says is in conjunction with the upcoming Malaysia Day celebration. During the promo period, the telco is giving its prepaid customers 100GB of free mobile data for reloads of RM30 or more.
On the surface, this sounds like a pretty good deal, as those who have remained conservative with their data use will likely be keeping the old habit of reloading RM30 a month, since this extends credit validity by 30 days. But as they say, the devil is in the details, and the reality is the free 100GB of data that CelcomDigi is giving to prepaid customers only lasts for three days.
For what it’s worth, the telco says that the data is available for hotspot usage, and you get your 100GB of data immediately after you’ve done the RM30 reload. This means not having to use the amount you’ve reloaded to then buy a mobile data pass. That being said, chances are you’ll need to anyway for the remaining 28 days of the month.
At any rate, this promo runs until 24 September, and as long as you’re a CelcomDigi prepaid customer, you’ll be eligible for it.
