Huawei is certainly keeping itself busy for the month of September. Not only is the company scheduling the Chinese launch of its tri-fold device on basically the same day as this year’s batch of iPhones, but it is also scheduling a Watch related event the week after.
The company’s official account on X, previously Twitter, announced that a product launch is happening in Barcelona on 19 September. While no product series was named, the image included teasers for two watches with a round-ish polygon for a bezel. Judging from the look of the bits that are teased, chances are it’s the debut of a new sequel into the Huawei Watch GT series.

Of course, the brand has more than just one range of smartwatches, and it probably won’t be too surprising if more if its watch range were made to share the spotlight. Possibilities include a new entry to the vanilla Huawei Watch series, the Watch Fit series, a Watch D successor, or even a sequel to its own Watch Ultimate.
All that being said, it’s worth reiterating that while the teaser looks to be promoting a new Watch GT, we won’t know what exactly is taking centre stage in two weeks’ time. At least, not until the event is underway.
