CelcomDigi has released a couple of new data passes in honour of Malaysia’s 67th Merdeka Day. To celebrate it, the telco is offering up two passes for both postpaid and prepaid customers with up to a whopping 670GB of data, but of course, there is a catch for each option.
The first option is a 610GB data pass that provides both 5G and 4G data, but it has a validity period of only two days. This is priced at RM6.10. As for the other offer, users can purchase a 670GB high-speed video streaming pass for RM6.70. It gives you the ability to use that quota to stream on Netflix, YouTube, iQIYI, Viu, and Disney+ Hotstar for five days. The two passes are available via the Celcom Life app or MyDigi app.
Additionally, there is a Merdeka promotion for the company’s base Fibre-To-The-Room. The base package, which comes with a router and a single slave unit for a 1Gbps connection, normally costs RM1,440 with a RM480 installation fee. However, with the limited-time promotion, you can get it at RM1,176 with free installation.
