Casio has introduced the new WS-B1000 digital watch, which is available now in Malaysia. While not a smartwatch, it does come with a built-in step tracker and Bluetooth connectivity support.
The watch itself is pretty simple in its presentation. It features a case and wrist band that are made of resin, and is rated at 10-ATM in terms of water resistance. There’s a total of four buttons on the sides, while its watch face displays the day, time, and date. Unique to this model is a small step tracker on the upper right corner.
To get a more comprehensive view of the step tracking feature, you can link up the WS-B1000 to the Casio mobile app on your smartphone via Bluetooth. Apart from that, you can also use it to accurately configure the time, set up alarms, world time, and more.
Other features offered by the watch include a stopwatch, countdown timer, and an Amber LED backlight. Meanwhile, its included CR2016 battery is capable of lasting up to two years, and there’s also a power saving feature if you wish to prolong usage further.
The new WS-B1000 is available via Casio Malaysia’s website and authorised stores nationwide, priced at RM369. As for colourways, the watch is offered in White, Black, and Blue.
