Samsung officially announced the arrival of its two latest Odyssey OLED gaming monitors in Malaysia today. Those monitors are the Odyssey G6 G60SD and the G8 G80SD.
Starting with the Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD, this gaming monitor comes with a sleek, thin body, along with an RGB ring light at the back, plus easy-to-locate and access I/O ports. Specs-wise, the monitor is a 27-inch QHD panel with a maximum refresh rate of 360Hz and a GTG response time of 0.03ms. As for the aforementioned ports, you get two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, and three USB 3.0 ports.
Moving to the Odyssey OLED G8 G80SD, the monitor is the premium of the two, featuring a 32-inch 4K panel, with maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and a 0.03ms GTG response time. To add on another element of luxury, Samsung has seen fit to install its NQ8 AI Gen3 processor into the monitor, thus providing it with a wider spectrum of colors, shades and contrasts.
Oh, and it also comes with its own set of Smart TV apps and remote control, to boot.
Regardless of specs, both the Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD and G8 G80SD Are AMD FreeSync Premium Pro monitors. As for pricing, the G6 retails at RM3,999, and the G8 at RM5,999. In conjunction with their availability in Malaysia, SunCycle, the local and official distributor of Samsung monitors, is offering a free Keychron Q1 Hot-Swap RGB keyboard worth RM799 with every purchase of either monitor, while stocks last.
