Touch ‘n Go has launched four charms up until this point, and it looks like a fifth has just been added to the list. And this latest one looks to be tailor-made for badminton fans, even if the name isn’t as specific as the way it looks. For whatever reason, it’s called the Sports Edition Charm, despite looking like a shuttlecock.
Making it more obvious that Touch ‘n Go made this latest charm with badminton fans in mind is the fact that the charm is a result of a collaboration with the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM). Unlike some of the prior charms though, there are no alternatives to the keychain ring that comes packed together.
As with the other charms that Touch ‘n Go has released before, this Sports Edition Charm doubles as an Enhanced TnG card with NFC support. Which translates to the additional benefit of letting you top it up through the TnG eWallet and a phone with NFC support.
With its theme, it’s probably no surprise that the Sports Edition Charm is first available at the Touch ‘n Go booth during the Perodua Malaysia Masters 2024 tourney at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil. You can get the charm there until 26 May, after which it will be available at the company’s Service and Sales Centers at Bangsar South and NU Sentral, as well as its official stores on Shopee and Lazada. Either way, it is priced at RM30.
