Huawei has officially announced the local availability of the MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition, an updated variant of its tablet from last year. It is essentially the same tablet as the regular 11.5-inch version but it has added the company’s PaperMatte technology into the mix, affording it a RM300 price bump.

The device sports an 11.5-inch 2.2K LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and uniform bezels. The PaperMatte display has an anti-glare property with a paper-like consistency, giving users better screen visibility when using it under sunlight. Underneath the chassis, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

For photography, and, most importantly, video calling, the MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition gets a 13MP primary camera on the back and an 8MP shooter up front. It is also equipped with surround-sound quad speakers. As for the battery life, it packs a 7,700mAh capacity with support for a charging speed of 22.5W.
