HONOR has revealed its latest lineup of flagship smartphones for 2024, the Magic6 series. Made up of a standard model as well as a Pro model, the series offers bleeding-edge specs in terms of computing, mobile photography, and displays.
The Magic6 and Magic6 Pro sport 6.8-inch curved LTPO OLED displays with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz and can reach a whopping peak brightness of 5,000 nits for HDR content. Both devices house a 50MP front camera but only the Pro gets an additional 3D depth sensor for face unlocking.
The Pro features a 50MP main sensor with a f/1.4-f/2.0 variable aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide, and an impressive 180MP periscope lens with 2.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. It runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm and is powered by a large 5,600mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 66W wireless charging.

Meanwhile, the vanilla model gets a 50MP primary shooter with a f/1.9 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 32MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom. The non-Pro variant also runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but is equipped with a slightly smaller 5,450mAh cell with slower 66W and 50W wireless charging.
The Magic6 starts from CNY4,399 (~RM2,866) for the base 12GB+256GB model while the Pro has a starting price of CNY5,699 (~RM3,713). International pricing and availability will be announced later on, so we’ll have to wait and see when exactly the new flagship series will be sold in the Malaysian market.
