Following a teaser from earlier in the week – and an international launch last night – the DJI Osmo Action 4 gets its local launch today. Also making an appearance during the launch event is the Air 3 Drone, which was launched last week.
As we’ve seen, the DJI Osmo Action 4 looks pretty similar to the predecessor model. The camera here consists of a 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 155-degree FOV, and an f/2.8 aperture. Recording options go all the way 4K at 120fps. 240fps is still available, but as before, this is locked to 1080p.
The HorizonSteady stabilisation tech returns with the DJI Osmo Action 4, which you can use via the RockSteady and HorizonBalancing modes. As the leaks indicated, the action cam is also waterproof up to 18m with deep freeze resistance.
On battery life, the company claims that the DJI Osmo Action 4 can shoot for 160 minutes. Charging rate is pretty rapid too, with the company claiming that charging for 18 minutes lets the action cam regain 80% of its charge. Which is impressive , but not really new, as those who have used the Osmo Action 3 would be familiar with this.
Now that they have been officially launched, we have the local price kf the DJI Osmo Action 4. You can get it with the standard combo, which is priced at RM1,899. This combo consists of:
