The upcoming Pokemon Go Community Day, also dubbed the Stufful Community Day, falls on 23 April 2022. Physical meetup locations have also been set in conjunction with the day, and the devs at Niantic have announced that there will be a few in the Asia-Pacific region. This includes two in Malaysia.
According to the update page dedicated to this Community Day, the two locations in Malaysia are listed as:
- Penang: Paragon Mall – Festive Square
- Kuala Lumpur: Desa Park City – Park entrance, Wooden deck (Next to Jibby by The Park)

Be at the aforementioned locations, and you’ll receive special postcards, as well as access to event-exclusive PokeStops. The post also notes that no registrations are required to take part. You can also participate in the Pokemon Go Community Day without actually being there, but you’ll naturally miss out on the special postcards.
The dev team also claims to have worked with local authorities to ensure that the Pokemon Go Community Day is compliant with COVID-19 prevention SOPs. Then there’s the obligatory note that “upcoming events are subject to change”. if you’re still a fan of the game, and have nothing planned for the weekend, then this may be something for you to add to your calendar.
