Late last month, we had reported that ASUS was planning to bring its new ROG Flow X13 convertible gaming laptop as well as the accompanying ROG XG Mobile external graphics station into Malaysia. However, it was only through the ASUS ROG Malaysia’s virtual launch event earlier this evening that the company finally revealed the pricing of these products for our market.
As previously noted, the ROG X13 Flow will be offered in Malaysia with three different options:
Coming to Malaysia at the end of February, the ROG Flow X13 with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080-based ROG XG Mobile bundle is priced at RM 13,499. For those who missed our previous reports, ASUS has no plans to offer the ROG XG Mobile external graphics as a separate product for the time being.
The company did say that it may consider offering the option in 2022 but we are under the assumption that the decision will eventually be based on whether the ROG Flow X13 is well received by the market or otherwise.
That being said though, the ROG Flow X13 gaming convertible itself can indeed be obtained as a stand-alone product. The variant with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS processor and 1TB SSD is priced at RM 6,499 while the lower-end unit with AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS and 512GB SSD goes for RM 5,999.
Regardless of the variant you choose, the stand-alone gaming convertible is equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics and 16GB LPDDR4X RAM. To learn how the ROG Flow X13 performed in real life, then do check out our review right here.
