The Epic Games Store usually gives away free games every week. Now, it is giving away free games everyday, until the end of the year. And today, the free game is Stranded Deep.
The game is a survival title by Beam Team Games. It sees the player surviving a plane crash somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. And you’ll have to build your own shelter, a raft, and more to survive. You’ll also have to manage a load of things like hunger, thirst and sleep, in addition to more basic things like health.
It was first released in early access back in 2015. As of now, it’s still labeled as early access on Steam and on the Epic Games Store. But it has been made available on consoles only recently, back in April this year. It also features some Easter eggs that references the 2000 film Cast Away, owing to the very similar setting.
