Remember back in July when UK-based luxury personaliser Truly Exquisite announced its 24K gold PS5? The company now has a price for it, alongside its 18K rose gold and platinum versions. And they are eye-watering, to say the least.
Let’s start with the 24K gold PlayStation 5. The standard console in gold comes in at GBP8099 (~RM43757), while the Digital Edition is priced at GBP7999 (~RM43217). The 18K rose gold versions, on the other hand, are GBP8199 (~RM44297) and GBP8099, respectively. And then there’s the platinum edition, which comes with GBP8299 (~RM44837) and GBP8199, respectively.
Naturally, all of these precious metal PS5 consoles are limited in number, with there only being 250 of each finish. Truly Exquisite says that the price of each will also include two DualSense controllers and a 3D Pulse headset, presumably of the matching finish. And they will all be presented to buyers in a wooden display box.
Beyond that, Truly Exquisite also has a price for the DualSense controller and the 3D Pulse headset, set at GBP649 (~RM3506) and GBP399 (~RM2156) respectively. That being said, the company did no specify which finish these prices are for.
If these prices are agreeable to you, then you’ll be glad to know that Truly Exquisite ships these custom PS5 consoles worldwide for free. Insurance is also provided, which is great. Pre-orders for these start tomorrow, 10 September at 3PM UK time, which is 10PM local time. For those who will actually pre-order the thing, your expensive console should arrive sometime in December, according to a tweet by Truly Exquisite.
